Sprinx Technologies, based in northern Italy, is specialised in designing and providing video intelligent software platforms able to analyse the mobility of vehicles and people. In the past, human control has been necessary to be able to analyse the course of events in video sequences, and act in case of an accident. Now, thanks to image recognition based on artificial intelligence, the software itself can detect and alert if there is a deviation, such as a car stop in a dangerous position, sudden smoke in tunnels or a vehicle towards the traffic. Used properly, artificial intelligence exceeds human oversight capabilities in terms of both quality and quantity.
