We were involved from the start, supporting Emerson in taking the Rosemount™ 2405 from early sketches and proof of concept to a finished, industrial-grade product now used across multiple sectors including chemical, food and beverage, metals and mining.

The scope of work included:

• Cybersecurity, threat modelling and secure development processes
• Web application and HMI interface design

One of the key features of the Rosemount™ 2405 is its ability to connect and power up to eight HART-enabled instruments that measures level, pressure or temperature using HART Multidrop loops. Our engineering team integrated this multi-drop functionality, enabling highly flexible and scalable sensor configurations.

Security was never an afterthought. From the beginning, the device was developed according to the ISA/IEC 62443 standard and achieved Security Level 1 compliance. We handled everything from gap analysis and secure software development to full documentation, laying the groundwork for future CRA compliance as well.

A seamless user experience – in the field and beyond.

QRTECH worked closely with Emerson on designing the user interface and web-based configuration tools. Together, we created a design system that ensures consistent experience – whether users interact on-site through the physical display or remotely via the browser-based interface. Configuration, logging, troubleshooting and updates are now easier than ever.
